5s bag first league win. 3s go third!

Tons for Zain and Atir in action packed weekend

A wonderful 113 for Atir Khan bagged the 3s a comfortable win down the A4 at Littlewick Green. Khan, who fell for an agonising 99 a few weeks back, got over the line this time, with Ammar Ayub racing to 68, as the Hill posted 295. In response, a five wicket haul for Steve Abraham got the job done as the veteran marched to 15 wickets for the season. The 3s look solid in 3rd position in 6B.

The 1s had a tough outing on a tricky pitch at Cookham. James Hammerton (33) top scored but losing seven wickets for 26 runs meant out boys were always up against it, and came out second best, despite Minhaj taking 3-29.

Zain (102) and Sharon (51) shone for the 2s, but Binfield took the spoils at Boyn Grove.

The 4s fell cheaply in a chase of 197 against Knowl Hill. Matt Roberts was at his parsimonious best with 1-15, while Rohan Nangpal bowled a great second spell to finish with 2-39, removing old boy and club regular Andy Morgan who made a fine 68.

The 5s got off the bottom of the table with their first ever league win. Ankur Nangpal took 4-28 to reduce Emmbrook to 173 at our 'home' ground in Little Marlow. Opener Rajesh Singh (90*) played a flamboyant fearless innings, with Yogi Chavan (31) and Kyan Kandohla getting the side over the line to jubilant celebrations.
