Boyne Hill U11 Girls marked a major milestone this week, winning the club’s first-ever official girls' hardball league match with a clinical victory over Slough.
Fielding first, the girls delivered a disciplined team performance. Ellie West and Erin Isherwood struck with the ball, Grace Seymour pulled off a sharp run-out, and tidy spells from Avnoor and Anya kept the pressure high. Freda Goford was rock-solid behind the stumps, while Zoe Seeneevassen impressed with a tight spell before seeing out the chase.

Chasing 126, Constance Kitt set the pace with a rapid 20, including three boundaries. Ellie West and Avnoor Chahal both retired not out after crucial middle-over stands, but it was Grace Seymour who anchored the innings. Fittingly, Grace returned to hit the winning boundary, finishing unbeaten on 23 to seal a famous win.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this milestone possible. A proud night for the club. Up the Hill!
