A wonderful knock from under 13 Aum Narwal (78* off 69) and a great display from PJ (67 off 53) were not quite enough to save the 4s from defeat at Datchet, ruing some crucial fielding errors, as Datchet posted a mammoth 267 off 30 overs, thanks partly to a postage stamp boundary.

Ethan Chavan and Ankur were the pick of the bowlers, with some excellent off-spin from Toby Carter.

In response, The Hill were always behind the chase, but still posted a strong 212, with PJ, Aum, Ethan (20) and Tegh repaying the favour to the Datchet fielders

The highlight of the day was Duncan pulling off an extraordinary one-handed catch on the rope. We hope the King was watching that one out of his window!
