A great all round performance secured a comfortable win for the U13 Stags at home to Cookham A.
Batting first on a green top, the Hill braved a couple of silly run outs to post a competitive 125, Aum continuing his strong recent run with a rapid 27 off 18 balls.

In response, Cookham got off to a good start but captain Tegh stuck to his plan. Tight bowling from Hasan, a couple of quick wickets for Liam Carroll (2-13) and some good catches held for Liam Kyte (3-8) meant the job was almost done. Yuvraj (2-6) came on to finish off the innings by removing the dangerous Cookham opener and chalk up another victory for the team, the last wicket a magnificent diving catch from Sami. "He was flying horizontally!", exclaimed proud coach Abhijit.
The boys go again at White Waltham on Monday in the last eight of the County Cup.
